I received a check in the course of working for a receivership. The check was mistakenly made out to me, but intended to be deposited into the receivership account. I deposited the check, made out to me, into my own account. What are the consequences?

You've posted this in criminal law, but you should be aware that there may be civil issues. If you were working for a receiver, there are issues with the receiver not keeping money in the proper accounts, especially if the receiver was court appointed.
