We are 26 homes, resubdivided into a separate legally-defined neighborhood within a larger 500 home neighborhood. Some of us did unknowingly sign a 1-pg covenant when we bought homes in this resubdivision that we were part of that HOA. 15 years later we first get a welcome to HOA + a bill!! The Declaration of the Home Owner Assn for the larger neighborhood specifically states our tract of land is excluded from their rule. Help! We do not want to belong. Broward County, FL
