Question

A default judgment was entered against me, and subsequently voided for lack of personal jurisdiction County of San Diego v Gorham. I was told I am entitled to all money collected be reimbursed. Legally how long does the County child support agency have to pay back that money

Answer

You may have to file a motion for restitution. The legal issue I see right now is whether or not the voiding of the judgment is final. You are not clear on whether there was a defect in service, in which case the papers should be reserved on you, or whether the matter is going to be dismissed altogether.
