I work at a restaurant in Southern California, and recently they started taxing all of our credit card tips on our paychecks. Majority of the time we receive credit card tips only, and we are required to tip out the expo, host, and bartender at the end of the night. Because of this, we are being taxed on tips that we aren't even keeping. Is this legal?
