Do you need a license to teach martial arts?
In most places, no license is required. In fact, most countries don't even require a certification. Which is why there are always a number of shady characters claiming to teach the ultimate fighting style and are Grandmaster Soke of Killing Hand Karate Fu Jitsu when they have never made it to green belt in any legitimate organization. Some countries, such as Australia, have accreditation systems that help the public insure that the school/instructor meets minimum requirements. The Australian Government actually accredits sports martial arts. Was this answer useful?YesSomewhatNoThanks for the feedback! Edit Answer byJim Fitzgerald Confidence votes 2Budo is a way of life not a hobby. Unfortunately in the US no but in France yes as Martial arts is aregulated sport.
