Question

my aunt passed away two years ago, and i'm the exectuor of her will. she will her property to my cousin and he has not changed the property in his name. if he do not claim the property, can i claim the property. i have been paying the taxes and upkeep for two years.

Answer

As executor, you should file a succession and have the court issue a judgment of possession to the heir. You can charge a fee for your services to be paid out of the estate. You should be reimbursed for all of the monies you have paid out.
