How do you remove the air bag cover on a 2006 gto?
There are 2 spring loaded retaining clips on each side. Tool number EL-46844 inflatable restraint module tool is recommended. It is used to release the springs. Then spin the wheel and release the other 2 springs. I have used a makeshift tool to do this but hard to explain it. You will see when you take a small light and slight pry up the module to see the springs. Always disarm and keep the noggin out of the way when messing with the bag. Respect the bag RESPECT THE BAG!
