Question

I purchased a bank owned property (with house) and the bank's attorney included 3 other bank owned adjacent vacant lots onto my deed. What do I need to do to clear this up? Do I legally own the land?

Answer

When you bought property, unless you did something foolish, you had your own attorney review all the documents before you signed and closed (NOT the closing attorney). That's cheap insurance against problems. At this point, if you did not do that, you'll need to hire a lawyer to review all the papers (and potentially fix errors).

Answer

The bank's lawyer will probably be very happy to fix the erro, with the paperwork reviewed by your lawyer.
