Dad stopped paying the full amount of child support nearly a year ago, and stopped paying all together about three months ago. How long until I have grounds to just terminate his rights for non-payment of support? My current husband wants to adopt, and my son says that step-dad is a better father figure and wants to be adopted. We are in TX.
