What happens when a fuel filter does not work?
That depends on how it's not working. If it's cracked, or clogged, the fuel may not make it to the engine (thus causing it not to run at all) or it may simply be sluggish. If the filter material is missing, or has holes in it, it could cause gunk buildup in the engine, and clogs in the injector assembly.
