Question

A couple of years ago we were foreclosed on a home in West Virginia. We now live in Texas. The mortgage holder has not sent us any information at this point on the foreclosure but realize that there is now way we can afford to pay both a mortgage and rent on our current and most likely have to file for bankruptcy. We are obviously going to need an attorney but our question is should we get an attorney from West Virginia or Texas?

Answer

Since you now reside in Texas you will need to file your bankruptcy case in Texas. Please feel free to visit our website at www.northtexasdebtfreedom.com
