if detectives came to my home to try to find evidence from sex abuse allegations and never read me my miranda rights, and during them asking questions I tried to explain why the allegations were lies and told them it got to a point where i used a recorder to find out where my child was sneaking out to and with, can they use that against me? They did not have this listed on the warrant and did not discover it themselves.
Answer
Ok, don't take my word for take Justice Robert Jackson who along with being on the US Supreme Court was also Solicitor General as well as Attorney General of the US.
Any lawyer worth his salt will tell the suspect in no uncertain terms to make no statement to the police under any circumstances. -- Indiana v Watts 338 U. S. 49 59 (1949)
Further voluntarily giving tangible items to the police waives any 4th amendment protections you might have had.
