The 1996 K1500 series of General Motors light-trucks have theirautomatic transmission fluid located across three areas. Most fluidwill be located in the automatic transmission itself. Secondarylocations include its lines leading to the in-tank radiator, and anauxiliary external cooler (if so equipped).
