Question

Is a printed form of Durable Power of Attorney that is notarized, just as legal as one that is drawn up by an attorney? What are the pros and cons?

Answer

A Durable Power of Attorney doesn't have to be written by a lawyer, though it's a REALLY good idea, but it does has to comply with Florida's very strict laws regarding how Powers of Attorney must be written. Many of the forms people download or purchase at the store don't comply.

Answer

Yes it is still valid, assuming it is properly done.
