Sure, you can sue them for not properly changing his diapers, but you won't win. The key is whether their conduct was negligently beneath the standard of care in the industry and what damages you or he have that you would not have if they had not given you the "false" information. Only if they gave you false information due to professional negligence AND it caused you damages you would not otherwise have, would you have a case you could win.
