Question

When a judge in VA General District Court asks me to write my case down on paper, include my evidence, and have it to the court on a particular date (which is way before the trial date) along with sending a copy to the defendant's attorney, is that a "bill of particulars" or is that something else? If it is something else what it is technically called? I need to know so I can find an example for to use to write this up. I have a bill of particulars example

Answer

What you/ve described sounds suspiciously akin to a BOP (Bill of Particulars).
