In the state of MO, if 3 people are named as owners of a home and 2 want to sell the home and the 3 party refuses can that person be forced to sign off on the home?
Answer
There is a cause of action under which any one or more of the owners can file a lawsuit seeking partition, and if things are not worked out be agreement, the Court can Order the property sold and the proceeds divided.
