Why did they call him casanova?
Today the term "Casanova" is used in reference to men who are particularly handsome or charming.The term comes from the name Giacomo Casanova (aka le Chevalier de Seingalt). He was a violinist, adventurer, swordsman, writer, and poet and met people like King Louis XV, Voltaire, and Comte de Saint Germain. This legendary man was known for having many female lovers throughout his life and for being very charismatic and seductive.
