What is a fun activity for a 10 year old girls birthday party?
Here are some party ideas:Treasure Hunt: Make a map that your child will follow with clues to find a treasure that you have hidden outside (you can also play this at a park)Gummy game (whoever finishes first gets the prize): put gummy worms on paper plates, then cover with whipped cream, and the kids will try to get the gummy worms in their mouth without using their hands (lots of giggles)Pin the bow on the birthday girl: take a picture of your child, then print it out bigger than she is, then blindfold each player in turn, who tries to pin the bow on the birthday girlGo roller skatingBird Houses: Go to a craft store and buy a small wooden birdhouse for each girl at the party (they cost about $3 each). Then buy a jar of cheap peanut butter, birdseed, and paper plates. If the birdhouses do not have a string attached to the top of the house, then attach one to each before the party. Have the girls sit around a table with their bird house sitting on top of a paper plate. Then finger-paint all surfaces of the outside of the bird house (except the bottom) with peanut butter. When it's all gooey, pour the birdseed into a big bowl, and have the partygoers scoop out bird seed with their hands and stick it onto their bird house. When they're done, you should see a birdhouse shape covered with birdseed. Set them each on a fresh paper plate to dry while they enjoy the rest of the party. When each person goes home, make sure they take their birdhouse with them, and hang it on a tree outside their house. If they don't have any trees, then they can hang it outside their house on a hook. The birds will love eating the seed, and they even might use the house to raise their chicks.
That should keep them busy, and having fun!
