can i reopen a workers comp claim after signeing a compromise and release even when i did not cash the check
Answer
If it is merely that you have "buyer's remore", that is you understood what you were agreeing to but now have change your mind and want more, the answer is no. A WC settlement is like any other agreement; if you agree with knowledge as to the terms you can not then just change your mind. If people could do so, then the finality sought for in settlement agreements would not exist and no one would settle cases.
If there are more relevant facts to the settlement, contact me with them [give details and not just very broad statements] and I will tell you if they change my position as to your case.
