Just found out I have an OJW on a ticket from 2004. Dur, no insc, no drivers license. I was in the system for a dwai in 08. And have had my drivers license with an interlock on my car, the DMV doesn't seem to know about the OJW, but my background check is where I found out about it. If I pay the warrent then a court date is set. Any recomendation? Isn't this quite old?

Not sure from your description if you have an active warrant or just an OJW fee due. You may be taken into custody and required to post bond if it is a warrant. Be prepared to be bonded out by friends, family or a bonds man. An attorney could file a motion to quash the warrant and possibly avoid being taken into custody.

Pay the OJW on the phone with the clerk. Ask if there is an active warrant. If there is, then contact an attorney to work on the case - I would be happy to discuss representation. A case that old might not be able to be prosecuted due to lack of witnesses etc. Also, old cases often had a 5 year warrant time and then they close it. I suspect if you pay the OJW, it will be over. But, if you do not pay the OJW, eventually DMV will notice.
