If an insuranced person hits your car and your car has never been in an accident Are they required to pay anything for the loss of the value of your car?
Depends on the state or country you are in. That's why it is best sometimes to get an attorney. Some insurance companies supply their own attorneys for their clients. If the damage and personal injury is substantial it would be in your best interest to get an attorney>
In my opinion the insured person responsible for the accident is legally required and obligated to restore any damage to as good as was condition. If they have paid for your repairs and you are concerned with loss of value because of the accident and repairs, there is not much you can do without significant proof that your vehicle is valued less because of the previously repaired damage.
