What are the arts and crafts of Pakistan?

What are the arts and crafts of Pakistan?
The arts and crafts of Pakistan vary by region. Each of the provinces and affiliated territories have regional crafts unique to them. Here are a few regions/cities with their distinctive crafts:1. Peshawar: hand etched copper and brass decorations and house-wares boasting elaborate floral and arabesque patterns. 2. Multan: Hand-crafted glazed terracotta tiles. Multan has been famous for its tiles for centuries. 3. Baluchistan: The province produces fine hand-woven tribal rugs (Kilims).4. DG Khan; Famous for its unique style of embroidery5. Kashmir: Chain-Stitched embroidered fabrics and hand-woven wool shawls 6. Lahore: Hand-crafted sterling silverware. Tis is largely a dying craft. Carved marble fire-places, tables, and statuary is also a small but well-established industry.7. Bahawalpur: Elaborately embroidered shoes locally known as Khussas8. Thar desert and rural Sindh: Chanarris (a kind of tie-and-dye fabric) as well as Ajraks (eleborately block-printed fabric) are produced here by local artisans.9. NWFP: Various regions in NWFP produce marble chess sets, decorative goblets and tea sets. 10. Chiniot: The city is fabled for its wood-work. The craftsmanship is exquisite. 11. Gujrat: The hub of fine furniture. The thriving industry has attracted many fine woodworkers and wood carvers from all over the country.12. Various: Artisans producing fine and folk arts can be found all over the country. With a growing middle-class, the patronage of arts is on the rise. Though this is by no means a comprehensive guide of arts and crafts of Pakistan, I still hope this is helpful.
