What month has been the most popular for birthdays?
It's not really a matter of being "popular" or not, because youdon't get to choose your birthday, and you usually only have alimited amount of say in your child's birthday.
In the US in 2010 (the easiest country and year to find statisticsfor, in the form of them coming up at the top of the Google searchresults for "birth month statistics"), it appears that August had aslight edge over the other months, followed by September, July andOctober in that order. You'll note that these months are all in thesame part of the calendar ... apparently humans (or at least thosein the US) like to get busy in late Fall, and the "lusty month ofMay" is actually pretty anemic, since nine months later isFebruary, the month with the fewest births (admittedly,it's also the shortest month).
